Privacy Notice

Information You Submit

A name or location entered into a search box passes to the third-party provider that operates the tool. This site does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. Messages sent by email or a contact form may be kept long enough to respond and are not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is legally required.

Automatic Technical Data

Normal web operations may collect technical facts when a page loads:

  • IP address and request timestamp
  • Browser name and version
  • Device type and operating system
  • Pages visited and time spent
  • Referring page or site, when supplied

Cookies can help measure use and remember basic settings. A browser can block cookies, though some features may then work differently.

How Data Is Used

Collected data may keep the site available, route a search to the selected partner, measure which pages help visitors, detect technical faults, and support relevant advertising. It is not used to create official Ochiltree County records.

Other Websites

Links go to sheriff, corrections, court, release-record, and third-party search services. Once a visitor follows a link, that destination's privacy policy applies. Advertising providers may use their own technology to understand activity across sites.

Who May Receive Data

Personal information is not sold. Limited data may be available to search partners that process a query, analytics services, advertising networks, and law-enforcement or government bodies acting under a valid legal order.

Security Practices

Reasonable security practices are used, but no internet-connected system can be promised as breach-proof. Avoid sending sensitive identifiers unless an official office has told you how to transmit them.

Visitors Under 18

This site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. A parent or guardian may request deletion if a minor submitted information.

Your Privacy Choices

Subject to applicable law and verification, a person may ask for a copy of data held about them, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, or an opt-out from certain processing. Requests may be sent through Contact Us. This process cannot alter a record held by a sheriff, court, TDCJ, or another agency.

Changes to This Notice

This policy may be revised as services or legal duties change. A new version becomes effective when posted here with its updated effective date.
